Congratulations Mandy & Chris!
This lovely couple are having their wedding next week! They wanted to get some portraits to have on display at the venue and for their personal collection. This session was also extra special because Mandy is one of my best friends, who I've known since I was a little girl. Recently, I had an afternoon photo session with some amazing students, and their families, before they left for their high school's grad dinner and dance.
Congratulations to you all on your graduation and best wishes for your next adventure! The holidays may be over, but I had to share some highlights of the Christmas session with the N family.
Olivia celebrated her first birthday with a good ol' cake smash!
Doing the photos at her birthday party was so much fun and made the session extra special. Olivia was all smiles for the camera and loved her big cupcake! What a wonderful way to celebrate her first year. Happy birthday Olivia! I had the pleasure of meeting and capturing this lovely family at Britannia Shipyards in Richmond, BC. We had such amazing weather too for the end of November! Here are some highlights from our day...
Some highlights from the M family portrait session at Deer Lake Park, Burnaby. They wanted to take advantage of Autumn's beautiful colours at the park before the season turned. We were lucky to have dry weather that day, as it has been raining all week before and started up again that evening. They were so much fun to work with and were suck rock stars! ;)

While sorting through the thousands of photos I took of the four-day event, I pulled out the images to share from one of my favorite parts of the convention - Cosplay. For those who don't know, Cosplay is a portmanteau of the words "costume play", is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character. Most of the participants at VCON made their costumes from scratch, which is a requirement when competing for the glory, bragging rights, and often a nifty prize. I met so many talented and amazing cosplayers who put a lot of work, love, and perseverance into their art.
